WALK / KOBE STATION NORTH
Walk the local side
north of Kobe Station.
A few minutes from the station, explore Aioicho 4-chome as a neighborhood rather than heading straight to a single destination.
This is an orientation walk, not turn-by-turn navigation. Opening status and street conditions can change, so use the AIYON map or Google Maps for live directions.

Start on the north side of JR Kobe Station.
Leave the station on the side opposite Harborland and the scene quickly shifts into an everyday mix of restaurants and buildings. From here, head into Aioicho 4-chome and let signs and storefronts guide the walk.
Within a few minutes, daytime and nightlife overlap.
Close to the station, izakaya and yakiniku sit near everyday facilities such as an indoor golf studio. The first thing to notice is that AIYON is more than a food district.
A little farther in, the neighborhood gets denser.
Ramen sits near a welfare-goods shop, a manufacturing company and a coworking space. Eating, working and shopping all happen within a short distance.
Keep walking to see more of the food range.
Farther into the neighborhood, creative Chinese food and seafood restaurants appear. Reaching this part of the block makes it easier to feel how many choices fit inside such a small area.
Finish by choosing the place that caught your eye.
Once you have the shape of the neighborhood, choose by mood: lunch, a drink, a local shop or another pin on the map. AIYON works well when you decide after you start walking.
2 WAYS TO WALK

Walk past izakaya, yakitori and bars and stop wherever looks right. The same streets feel different once the lights come on.

When in doubt, return to the map.
Use the AIYON map to locate listed places and continue browsing other spots in the same area.
