About a one- to two-minute walk from Kobe Station, Genpeiso is a long-running mahjong salon with around 70 years of history. It is dedicated to private table rental rather than walk-in free-play games, so groups of friends reserve a table and play together. The salon has five automatic dealing tables, along with air purifiers, a television and lockable lockers. Table rental is ¥1,320 per hour per table, with a student discount available. Outside food is allowed, delivery can be arranged, and private use for mahjong events can also be discussed.
